Correct Calibration Steps (TSC Alpha 30)

1. Turn the printer OFF.

2. Press and hold the FEED button on top of the printer.

3. While holding FEED, turn the printer ON.

4. Release FEED when the status light starts flashing red.

5. The printer will calibrate; it usually flashes red several times.

Important notes: Release FEED while the light is flashing red. Then do not press anything—let calibration finish. The printer should return to a solid green or blue light.

Calibrate when you see “Paper out or “Media not found with media loaded, labels skip or feed incorrectly, you change label size/type, or print quality is inconsistent with gap or black-mark media.
